HCF Worship Team Ministry

Corporate Worship is a special time that allows us to celebrate together the very presence of God in our lives, to focus on Christ and His purposes.  As servants of the body of Christ, our goal as a worship team ministry is to exalt the Lord, to enter His presence and encourage other believers to come along with us so that we might exalt Him together.

Since it's founding, weekly corporate worship has played an important role at Hope Christian Fellowship. We desire that each weekend service would be a celebration of the goodness of God and the victorious life found in Christ. We also desire that both corporately and personally we would experience an authentic closeness with the Lord.

We are continuing in a tradition which evokes participation rather than spectatorship. We strive to provide musical settings that are varied, relevant, creative, and presented with excellence. Our desire is to be led by the Holy Spirit in the direction of our worship services.

We want to lead the congregation to glorify, honor, and acclaim the Lord Jesus Christ through the example and service of our everyday lives.

To accomplish this:

• We will seek the Lord for His guidance in our individual lives so that we can provide, by example and preparation, weekly leadership of the congregation in worship.
• We will exhibit an example of personal spiritual growth to the congregation through our lifestyle choices, personal spiritual accountability, and willingness to participate in other Small Groups.
• We will provide opportunities for HCF active participants to serve the congregation through the use of musical and technical talents.
• We will strive for excellence and skill in our musical presentation to better glorify God, the giver of our gifts.
