HCF Children's Ministry

Mission:  Our mission is to supplement parents in the godly training of their children.

Goal:  Our goal is to effectivly use our scheduled times to expose children to the Word of God (our curriculum)

Using:  Classes, small groups, & scheduled events. (our tools for ministry)

Led by:   Positive role models (our living examples of God's character)

We want to help kids to:
KNOW CHRIST - GROW IN CHRIST - SERVE CHRIST
& SHARE CHRIST WITH OTHERS
 

Our desire is that our nursery provide much more than mere babysitting. We believe it is possible to share the love of Christ with a child from the day of his or her birth.

Pre-school & Kindergarten

The pre-school ministry at HCF is for chidren 3 and 4 years old.

After participating with their family in a time of corporate praise and worship at the 10:30 a.m. service, all children (except nursery) are dismissed and escorted to their classes.

The children in both pre-school and kindergarten levels are taught stories and truths from God's Word using a "hands-on" learning approach.

Elementary

After participating with their family in a time of praise and worship at the 10:30 a.m. service, all chilcren (except nursery) are dismissed and escorted to their classes.

The 1st - 6th grade students at HCF learn age-appropriate Bible lessons and build caring relationships with others in their peer groups.

These kids meet in their classes for a time of creative teaching followed by small group activities designed to apply that days' Biblical truth to their everyday lives.

Kid's Adventure Week

Kid's adventure week is an annual event scheduled exclusively for kids (and their friends) who attend HCF. This fun week features themed activites each evening.
