 Leadership

Leadership is Influence

Everyone has influence, for good or for evil. We want to take very great care in the kind of influence we have upon others and also the manner in which we use our influence. The only thing necessary for leadership is to be one step ahead of the person you are influencing.

God wants his children to grow up and become mature. In order to do that, we need leaders - people who will influence us to make wise choices and encourage us in our daily lives.

I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.
I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you,
dear children, because you have known the Father. I write to you, fathers, because you
have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong,
and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
                                                                                                              I John 2:12-14

The body of Christ needs more "little children," who will recognize their condition and come to the Lord for forgiveness and restoration. But they cannot stay there. They need to grow up.

The body of Christ needs more "young men (and women)" who will learn to be strong, who have the Word of God alive and at work with in them, who will fight the good fight and overcome the difficulties of life and the impact of the devil himself! But it doesn't end there either!

The body of Christ needs more "fathers (and mothers)" in the faith who will rise up and take the lead to instruct young men and women about how to walk out their faith, and to help mentor them.

If you are one who is willing to make a commitment to grow to maturity, you can do it!  We are here to help, and we have many resources available.  Contact one of our Elders or Deacons -- or better yet. . . join a small group!

There is SO much to learn & SO far to go . . . so we invite you to join us as we journey together. We encourage you to start today!

We want you to reach your fullest potential in Christ!
